Redo Question

Hi,
We need to resize our redo logs. They are already 50M and we have 3 groups, but the 'Checkpoint not complete' errors just will not go away.
I cannot seem to drop them because no matter how many log switches I force, the status always stays 'Current' or 'Active'.......
Any suggestions?
