Just a hunch.

Are you installing from a disk in which the software has been stored "not in the root directory"?

I vaguely recall that if the software was, for example, stored in a directory called "oracle10g", it would behave in this way, but if the whole lot was copied one directory up, it would run fine. Received on Tue Oct 30 2007 - 00:46:38 CDT
