Currently using oracle enterprise 10.2.0.3 on RAC cluster using oracle recommended strtaegy

of weekly backup up
BACKUP tag='Core_daily_backup' INCREMENTAL LEVEL 0 DATABASE PLUS ARCHIVELOG; & daily backup

BACKUP tag='Core_daily_backup' INCREMENTAL LEVEL 1 CUMULATIVE DATABASE;
}

Does the above give optimal protection to redo-logs or could this be enhanced by introducing manual switching for level 0 and or level 1.

Note :- both backups in hot mode Received on Wed Jun 27 2007 - 10:12:56 CDT
