When you set the recovery window to 4 days, what you are saying is that "I want to be able to recover to any point in time in the last 4 days", not "I only want to keep backups for 4 days". It looks to me as though you still need the 11th May backup to recover to 4 days ago (actually due to the wonders of internet time delays you may now find the 11th may backup obsolete, but I digress.
