Thanks everybody,

I managed to restore the instance using my dump. Instead of using "imp full=y" I just imported the objects(?) owned by the user that we use to run tha application: "imp fromuser=myself touser=myself".

I was testing the application and it's running nice. I don't know if I will have problem in future, but so far everything is working fine.

So, the steps that I did after I erased the files was (just to help others):

  1. Using DBCA, I erased the "corrupted" database/instance
  2. Using DBCA, I created a new one
  3. Using a previously exported dump (exp full=y ...) I imported just the objects needed by the application (imp fromuser=xxx touser xxx ...)

So, to avoid future problems I will ask our DBA to review our backup procedures.I'm quite sure that right now we are doing just the dump.

Thanks
