HACMP is needed since we're using raw devices. SRDF is the preferred option for all mission critical production systems and hence Dataguard is not an option.

All I'm trying to determine is how other people have worked around the CRS hostname issue with SRDF. I'm beginning to think that not replicating the binaries and OCR will be a reasonable option and hopefully will work.
