Hello,

we have the following situation:

2 AIX 5.3 cluster nodes with Oracle DB 10.2.0.2 The private_interconnect and public network is 1 Gbit. The public network is configured as EtherChannel, the interconnect is not. When we pull out the cable from private_interconnect then the RAC does not failover to the public network. Both instances are hanging and after approx. 20 minutes one node is rebooted by CRS because of split-brain.

How can we solve this problem? I think RAC should failover to public network when private fails.

Best regards
