Oracle 10gr2 ftp xmldb login problem

Hello NG!

I want to use the oracle ftp server on prot 2100 an if i make: ftp <host> 2100

the server said:

Connected to <host>
220- <host>
Unauthorised use of this FTP server is prohibited and may be subject to civil and criminal prosecution.
220 <host> FTP Server (Oracle XML DB/Oracle Database) ready. Name (<host>:root): system
331 pass required for SYSTEM
Password:
530 login error
ftp: Login failed.

The given password is correct. i have read that i must use a schema account for the ftp login and i try SYSTEM. On a other oracle 10gr2 server the ftp login works fine.

This is oracle 10g r2 under linux x86_64. is there a ftp logfile or any other file where i can get information about the error?

Some ideas?
