1 Where did you read that? It doesn't make sense at all. 2 It doesn't make sense to use buffered I/O. It only makes sense to use db_16k_cache_size if you have tablespaces with 16k block size. It does make sense to use the keep and recycle cache though. 3 None
4 If have never used it in 17 years.
