There is not.


Usually RDBMSes are being *designed* instead of hacked together, and
adding a column occurs seldomly.


You could of course also


-create a view on this table with the correct column order

-dump this (and possibly other ) table and start all over again, and

now do things *properly*



The last option is probably the best in your case.
