What edition of the Oracle database server software do you plan to
deploy?


There is a licensing guide on otn, also available for access via
store.oracle.com.


If you were planning on getting by with a 2 CPU license of Oracle
Standard One on a box that accommodates dual dual core CPUs, you might
be in for a surprise to the tune of $20K USD.



Be very careful and discuss this with your Oracle sales rep.
