No. Logical volumes are meaningless except with respect to management activities and backup. What you need to do is accept that you don't have the expertise required to make these decisions and ask EMC to advise you. They have a lot of experts that really know their stuff.

Stop trying to get us to teach you a course on storage management in short paragraphs. You are doing yourself a huge disservice. At best you will get from ignorance to dangerous.

Ask EMC to help you.
