I will suggest a change to Yong's otherwise fine reply. Instead of using the database block size in your calculation since user data tablespaces can now be built using a different block size from the database block size I would get the figure from dba_tablespaces.block_size unless you are sure you will never use the query on a database that has more than one block size in use.
