Hi all:

When we have an syntax error in SQL issured in sqlplus, sqlplus will report which line caused this error, does any one know how sqlplus implement this feature, I think it's a servide feature, how I can report this error in my program, usually I can only run it and report the ORA- error code?

   Thanks.
