Maxim,

Thank you so much for sharing your views. I will try to have oracle running on 256mb for now..now atleast I have some confidence in doing so..and ya much of my work I will do only in my other computer which has 1 gb of ram..basically I want to do db cloning , data guard set up etc where second computer is required..
