I was able to see OPEN issued by dbwr by using the following command: strace -fo /tmp/dbwr_newodm2.txt sqlplus (seems like an strace issue)

However, NOT when I used Veritas's ODM libraries libodm9.so -> /opt/VRTSodm/lib64/libodm.so

Veritas is next
