I'll try to bring this up with both Oracle and RH. Seems more of an issue with oracle than redhat though. (too bad metalink is currently down)

Would like to stay away from 10g, since we are moving to linux from solaris (changing OS and DB at the same time seems 'dangerous').. Don't want to upgrade Solaris to 10g, b/c we are still on solaris 2.7 .......
We use Oracle 8.1.7.4 and 9.2.0.6/7 on Solaris 2.7 and RH4 remove NSPAM to email Received on Mon Aug 29 2005 - 10:12:43 CDT
