It *may* be outdated. But so is are many other words we see everyday, see in this newsgroup, or read in first editions of classic books. It does not preclude their use.

Anyway my point is Daniel Morgan writes RTFM all the time in this newsgroup. I find this rude and the crux of this ongoing thread. Mr uber guru has also decided he will police English use and made a post with the sole purpose of telling me a word I had used didn't exist. Daniel Morgan didn't *R*ead *T*he *F*ine *D*ictionary, RTFD if you like, before he made this post. The word exists and with the meaning I intended. The logical conclusion is that Daniel Morgan doesn't practice what he preaches. RTFM/RTFD Daniel Morgan!
