By the way - you might want to spend a few moments with the 'Installation Guide'. It tells you silly stuff like "The Oracle9i AS Infrastructure is part of the CD pack." (Section 1.1 What Are the Contents of the Oracle Collaboration Suite CD Pack?)

There is also a document called 'Preinstallation Guide' which kinda walks you through the prerequisites, such as appropriate hardware sizing, kernel parameters, etc.
