Well, unfortunately the patch didn't seem to fix the whole problem.
The ASM instance died again with an ORA-00822 last night, which then
brought down the two database instances that relied on it.
The weird thing is that both times they happened at almost the exact same time. The first time that it happened at 23:00:41.538 (on 2005-04-30). The second time that it happened at 23:00:40.932 (on 2005-05-03).
Does anyone know if the ASM instance is doing something weird at 11:00p???
FYI: The bug # associated with this is Bug: 4153846 on Oracle Server 10.1.0.4.0 64-bit (Solaris). Received on Wed May 04 2005 - 08:48:06 CDT
