I think everyone is just starting to think about what the correct approach is. I am sitting at 9.2.0.6 so there wasn't much to patch from the January 18th delivery but it's different by patchset level and platform etc.

Instead of supplying oneoff's it would seem safer for oracle customers if oracle supplied patchsets that had included regression testing etc. The current approach just doesn't seem optimal to me.

I wouldn't be surprised if oracle changes their direction after getting some real world feedback from the current approach. Received on Fri Jan 28 2005 - 12:53:08 CST
