Do you want to trade places? DB2 DBAs have up to 30% higher salaries then Oracle DBAs. If I were you, I wouldn't be complaining. BTW, it is extremely ironical that IBM always calculates the cost of costly Oracle DBA folks, when comparing the TCO for DB2 with the TCO for a comparable Oracle configuration. Even contemplating running a DB2 shop without a DBA team is an exercise in futility.
