proxy authetication

Hello,

I am using 10g, bea 81. sp3
All the examples i found for proxy authetication are using oci driver. Oracle documentation does mention that thin drives can perform proxy authetication, can anyone tell me an example of proxy authetication using thin driver?

Also what is the real difference between connection pool and connection cache...
