Sorry for being inprecise. I meant with "this error", both errors, the OCR installation error and the ORACss Service starting error.
Both errors showed up on two different machines with the 10g .zip file of the 10.1.0.2 download area.
Next time I do the install I will take screenshots.
I would treat them as glitches. But probably crucial for the one who exactly wants to use these services.

I examined the install log and got the following entries relevant to to
above two problems: (in german, sort of :-)

OCR konnte nicht initialisiert werden.
