OK - sounds good to me.... v3 it is.

9i is our current version, and 10g is not certified with our ERP software (Peoplesoft...!). So it will be 9i for at least the near future.

But I will probably upgrade my RMAN catalog and OEM architecture to 10g which apparantly has a load more 'attractive' features. Until now I've always resorted to command line admin but since things are getting more and more complicated and init.ora parms have multitudes of combinations (e.g. LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_N) OEM is becoming a real option.

My challenge now is to convince management to ditch all of our Windows based databases in favour of the Penguin...!

Should be fun...
