I see, man.
But you said the disk containing archived logs crashed so I was confused.
One more thing, you need not only one archived log past the point of backup, it depends.
You will need the archived logs from the time you begin the backup until you force Oracle server to do a logswitch. Oracle will do a logswitch when redo logfiles are full, not just wait for you. Just my 2 cents. Received on Tue Oct 19 2004 - 19:04:47 CDT
