Version?

Depends on what you mean by upgrade. Are you talking about a schema change? A data change? Or an Oracle patch?

Please reread your posting. Could you have been less clear? ;-)

With respect to your last question ... yes you can. But why any sane person would choose 5 SGAs, 5 System tablespaces, 5 Undo tablespaces, and 5 Temp tablespaces when one would suffice is beyond me.
