Hello, excuse me for replying even though I don't have any information about your specific combination. I just want to make sure you are aware of MetaLink note 261460.1 which gives a good short overview of bug 2620053: "AIX Logical Colume Corrupting Oracle Data".

[There is one speling mistake in the Oracle note, the "-T 1" option should be "-T 0"]

There are also performance related issues with the above, a good reference can be found on pages 18 and 19 on a document on ibm's website:
