Post Installation Issue - want to change the IP and hostname.

Hi All,



I have installed the 10g Database with the localhost.localdomain on a
DHCP server with redhat advance server 3.0. Now i would like to change
hostname and domian and make this a fixed ip address machine. But upon
doing so the dbaconsole is not started as in the ./etc/hosts i have
removed the line for the localhost.localdomain. Has anyone changed the
ip and hostname for the database post installation.



Any help is much appriciated.
