True enough. However, I would say that the docs can be overwhelming to a newbie. When I was getting started I often felt that, when reading any particular piece of doco, one had to understand everything else in order to understand anything. In retrospect, that's probably true of any subject, particularly large and complex ones. One has to struggle to understand a few concepts in order to build a mental framework on which to begin the *real* learning.

And the sheer volume of docs often make it difficult to know where to even begin. The search capabilities on tahiti have helped tremendously in that area. Received on Thu May 27 2004 - 07:15:54 CDT
