Oracle documents that the old home selectors have been replaced with the oui. I can deal with that. My problem is that I have programs that need to know what the current default home is. Under the old registry structure, the current home is stored in hklm\software\oracle_home and ...\oracle_home_name. But with 10g these keys are no longer updated. I have an 8i and a 10g home, but the registry key for oracle_home always contains 8i even if I use the oui to specify 10g as the primary home and take 8i out of the path altogether.
