Why don't you actually let the discussion develop before leaping in?

I made no nasty comments about Mike. And I made no personal comments about B.

And I posted facts and figures to back up my point.

It is fine to not want things to degenerate. It is even fine to oh-so-quietly suggest, as my comment above to Mike was attempting to do, that a discussion on the technical merits is fine, but a blind defence (or attack) of Burleson is not.

It is not fine to pass judgement about the content of a thread before it has even begun in earnest. Especially when you then go on to snip the very technical content you say you are looking forward to reading.

Bide your time, I think.
