It is not going to work. There is a central oratab. There is a central
tnsnames.ora. It is a maintenance nightmare. You would need to apply
patches to all Oracle homes.
Is there any good reason why you want to be so 'smart'
One of our customers has set up such a situation. The server is a mess.
