Your able to access the command ctxsrv but how, script or command prompt?
if script ensure you have set ORACLE_HOME=/u01... from within the script.
If command prompt ensure that ORACLE_HOME is indeed set from within the user a/c you are performing this from, to test simply try and access sqlplus from a directory other than oracle/bin, if it fails then set ORACLE_HOME=/u01...
