Dear All,

Our team is attempting to install Oracle 9i Real Application CLusters on IBM Boxes with The storage is IBM EXP 300 using SCSI Channel to connect to servers Servers are IBM X255.

The operating System is Windows 2000 Advanced Server with Service Pack 3.

We are unable to configure the common storage to appear to both nodes (Active-Active mode) before the RAC installation (as specified in the metalink document). This I belive is a pre-requisite for RAC.

Would it be possible for anybody to provide us with a brief guideline on the OS/Hardware Front, on how to make the RAID config appear on both the boxes at the same time. At present we have to use the ipshahto.exe to takeover the resources.

It is only after this that RAc can be installed.

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,
H.S.Anand (Oracle DBA)
