I am using RMAN to take backup of my Oracle 8.1.7 DB using Netbackup
3.2 in Sun StoreEdge L1000 Tape Drive, while taking backup it creating
multiple backup piece, for each piece its unmounting and mounting the
tape media. and creating seperate job ID for each backup piece. due to
that the backup takes more time to complete.
Is there anyway we can have single backup job, which can hold all the
backup piece, so that it wont unmount and mount the same media again
and again. Thanks
