Yes and no. Publishers don't publish what authors don't write. I think both the praise and the damnation
have been exaggerated. That someone is an expert on a subject does not equate with being a great
teacher of the subject. That someone makes a mistake editing a book does not mean they don't know the
subject matter.

My biggest complaint is in the quality of the editing process. It should be tighter and include those outside
of the circle to make sure that what comes out is correct.
