Database could freeze if you are in archive log mode. Chance are it will mess us.

Why do you say you will have to reinstall Oracle DB, why are the dbf on the same filesystem as the Oracle binaries?

You could move all the datafiles to the file systems where there is space. Doesn't seem like you need to rebuild anything, just do a little management.

Dont forget you can also resize your datafiles to make them smaller if they are too large Received on Mon Aug 18 2003 - 17:32:09 CDT
