You don't know, what you don't know.

You seem to be working on mysteries without any clues.

You seem to be grasping at buzz words de'jure hoping, just hoping that one of them is your Silver Bullet (TM).

If you could/would actually post the output from TKPROF which contains the EXPLAIN PLANs for SQL involved, then maybe somebody here might have a fighting chance to assist in speeding up the batch job.

Rhetorical question -
If you don't know which statement(s) [SQL or PL/SQL] are causing the most delay, then how/why do you expect them to automagiaclly get faster.
