Depends on the transaction rate, how often you want to run a backup/purge of the logs, and if the file system is to be used for anything else. Most likely 31g will be enough. The only way to know for sure however is to test it under a production load. See how much log data you generate over a given period of time. That will tell you the minimum frequency for backup/purge. You'll probably want to do this at least daily. More often if you are concerned about losing archived log files. Received on Mon Apr 28 2003 - 14:26:50 CDT
