Another thing.

As a UK 'consumer', my company replicates a number of these tables from our friends' global database across the Atlantic on a daily basis, in order to allow the UK subsidiary to report on its bit.

And from time to time (as far as I can see) the U.S. perform this exp/imp 'reorg' on a Sunday, which is 'downtime' for them.

And every time they do, it of course grows the MLOG$ tables into giants; and our replication in the small hours of Monday dices with death.
