Beware that according to me experience, there is a problem with the Intelligent Agent. I installed 8.1.7 and 9.2.0 (using different ORACLE_HOME) on a Linux/Intel box (Redhat Advanced Server 2.1), but when I tried to setup a Job using the Oracle Enterprise Manager, something began to eat up the CPUs... Very strange thing. I just shut down the Agent, no time to struggle with that.
