Two suggestions:

1. recheck that the download was clean. I've seen and heard about download glitches frequently ... thinking about how many bytes you transferred, what are the changces of getting some messed up?
2. if you can, sign up for a trial (through the Oracle store). That allows you to get the CDs at a very reasonable price. Since they ship by CD Pack nowadays, that adds a lot of extra software as well. Pretty reasonable shipping time as well. They don't expect you to send the CDs back. And the license is roughly the same as for the downloaded version ... thou shalt not expect support, thou shall not put into production, etc.
