| Once I finish upgrading all my database from 8.0.5 to 8i.
| Can I delete oracle 8.0.5 which is in a different oracle home than 8i..
| Is there procedure somewhere that say how to do that ?

What platform?
Please, always specify platform and Oracle version. In most cases - like this one - the answer depends on it.
Now I can only say: yes you can delete 8.0.5 by using the Oracle installer. Depending on the platform there is something more to do. Metalink has excellent notes about removing Oracle from the Windows platform and for Unix too I assume. Received on Tue Mar 25 2003 - 13:41:48 CST
