You also didnt post the contents of the top command...it could be
anything.  We recently had an issue on our Solaris box with 'picld'
taking up way too much memory.



A Solaris patch fixed the issue, and we are off and running without
memory problems again.



SO:



Check the owner and processes in the top command, and log an iTAR if
you feel there is an Oracle problem.
