Go to the Oracle bin directory and use oradim.exe to drop and then recreate
the Oracle service.

For instructions on how to use this command line utility type oradim at the
DOS prompt.

First you will:
oradim -delete -sid

Then you will:
oradim -new -sid ....

You would lose all the data like this, right?

Any Idea what is wrong if the service starts but the DB does not? (8.1.7)
