True enough, but it works fine nonetheless. Not being certified just means Oracle hasn't tested it to destruction. For testing/development/learning purposes, it's fine.

Just like 8.1.5 on Windows 2000, really.

But what you can't do is reliably install onto any Windows machine, of whatever flavour, that's been through the wars of upgrades, other software installs, de-installs and God knows what else. A clean install every time, and then it just *works*!!
