FGAC, other user attributes.

I am trying to implement user control directly with the database and bypass the need for a "users" table that the application would maintain.

Question:

If the application executes "create user galen ..." where do I store galen's email addresses? Do I create a user auxiliary table with a foriegn key to sys.user$
