Several possibilities:
- bugs (afaik netassist won't work)
- settings (X-windows, etc - however, as you managed to

   get it installed and working, you *must* have gone via    the _ahem_ beauty of OUI)
- be sure to:

   unset LANG
   export display=:0.0 (or whatever number e.g. vncserver assigns)    install the stubs patch
