porting nlb from 9 to 8

Hello,

I had a problem concerning collation under 8.1.7. I have installed a version 9 database and generated a new nlb file (collation) with locale builder, installed it into Oracle and it works like a charm. Can I port this nlb file to Oracle 8, is it supported, is it only a question of running lxinst against the nlt file under Oracle 8 or is defining a new collation sequence new to Oracle 9?
